What the System Does

From archivo M to VUCEM acuse — parsing, editing, signing, and tracking in one system.

Automatic Archivo M Parsing

Your customs agent emails the archivo M. We parse the pipe-delimited file automatically — extracting pedimento header, COVEs, incrementables, edocument references, and partidas. No manual data entry.

Multi-COVE Handling

One pedimento can contain multiple COVEs. Each COVE generates its own MV submission with its own invoices, values, and incrementables — grouped together for review but signed individually.

1Password Credential Vault

e.firma credentials (.cer, .key, password) are stored in 1Password — never in our database. For self-service, credentials are uploaded per-session via a magic link and discarded after signing.

Automatic VUCEM Polling

After SOAP submission to VUCEM's IngresoManifestacionService, we poll for the acuse every 5 minutes for up to 48 hours. Status updates appear in your portal in real time.

Edocument Deduplication

Documents from the archivo M and your uploads are merged and deduplicated by edocument ID. Same supplier across multiple COVEs? Auto-linked. Missing documents flagged before signing.

RFC-Level Configuration

Enable MVE per importer RFC and assign a default signing mode and 1Password vault. All submissions under that RFC inherit the configuration automatically.

The Full Workflow

From archivo M received to VUCEM acuse delivered.

01

Archivo M Arrives

Your customs agent sends the archivo M by email. We parse the pipe-delimited file and create MV submissions in draft status — one per COVE.

02

Collaboration & Review

BLK reviews extracted data: pedimento, COVEs, incrementables (freight, insurance, packaging), edocuments. You complete payment info — pagado/por pagar, dates, forma de pago.

03

BLK Approval

BLK verifies all data and documents. Missing edocuments are flagged. Once complete, the submission moves to signing.

04

e.firma Signing

BLK Signs: we fetch your e.firma from 1Password and sign the cadena original. Self-Service: you receive a magic link, upload .cer/.key/password, review the PDF, and sign.

05

VUCEM Submission & Acuse

We submit via SOAP to VUCEM and poll for the acuse every 5 minutes. On acceptance, we deliver the acuse to your customs agent. On rejection, the MV returns to draft for correction.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an MVE (Manifestación de Valor Electrónica)?

An electronic value declaration required by Mexican customs for every import. It declares the transaction value, payment terms, incrementables (freight, insurance, packaging), and links the supporting edocuments from VUCEM. Required before customs clearance.

Do I need to upload the archivo M myself?

No. Your customs agent sends the archivo M to BLK by email. We parse the pipe-delimited file automatically — extracting the pedimento header, COVEs, edocument references, and partidas — and notify you when the MV is ready for review.

How does signing work with the magic link?

We generate a secure token tied to your RFC with a 7-day expiry and a 5-attempt password limit. You click the link, upload your .cer and .key files, enter your password, review the PDF preview, and sign. Your credentials are used for that single signing session and never stored.

Where are my credentials stored in BLK Signs mode?

In a 1Password vault — never in our database. Your certificate (.cer), private key (.key), and password are stored in 1Password's encrypted infrastructure. We fetch them on demand each time we sign on your behalf, and validate that the certificate RFC matches your importer RFC.

What happens if VUCEM rejects the submission?

The MV returns to draft status automatically so you can correct the issue. VUCEM's error codes and field-specific messages are surfaced in the portal. Once corrected, you can resubmit through the same signing flow.

What documents come from the archivo M vs. what I need to provide?

The archivo M contains edocument references (invoices, BLs, certificates of origin) already registered in VUCEM. These are imported automatically. You only need to upload contracts, recaps, or guarantee documents if they apply to your operation.
